In late May, I took the Addiction Intervention module of my counselling course. The class learnt about what an addiction is. In addition, for me, I learnt by first-hand experience, what an addiction and the feelings of an addiction really is.
And then, our assignment is to change a behaviour. That is, to learn how to change a behaviour, and write an essay and summarize the behavioural change. The behaviour I wanted to change is to drink at least 3 bottles of water. Since May 24 till now, my goal is to consume 3 bottles of water every day, with each bottle being 600ml, targetting 1.8L of water per day. Though I failed to achieve my goal, I wrote my essay and submitted it. I stated however, that I would continue working on that goal, as that is part of a larger plan, that of dropping weight.
Today, I am happy to report that I have finally achieved drinking 4 bottles of 500ml of water for the first time, within 8-9 hours. Quite an achievement for me actually. I want to achieve being able to drink more.
