It’s been a decade (or maybe 9 years) since I last spoke to her. When I saw her passed by yesterday while having tea at The Royal Copenhagen, I wasn’t sure it was her, so I called out “Lynn”, but she walked passed me… So, I did a sneaky little thing. I called up her last-known phone number, and I noticed her phone rang. I then hung up, tried again, and hung up. I’m surprised I still have her number, since I haven’t called or talked to her for the past 9-10 years.

When she walked passed me, I struck up a conversation with Lindy (remembered her name at the last minute). It turned out she is now working as a marketing rep at EMC, and was having some high-tea with her soon-to-be husband. She mentioned that another ex-colleague, Sharon and herself, are both on Facebook. After I finished my tea, I dropped by her table, and said goodbye to them both. It was really exciting to see people I once knew.

The other day, while having coffee at Wang at HarbourFront, I thought I noticed an ex-colleague, Bee Bee, and so I SMSed her, but didn’t get any reply. So today, when I noticed another ex-colleague, Yvonne, online, I took the opportunity to catch up with her as well. She’s now working @ Apple, position unknown. It seemed Apple didn't want employees to divulge what they do. During the conversation, I mentioned that I missed the kind gestures when Bee Bee made breakfasts, or bought coffee for me, and it turned out that Bee Bee made breakfasts for Yvonne too. Yvonne’s going to Macau next month, and I shared with her my recent trip to Macau as well.
