I left home at about 9:20am in the morning on Saturday, having arranged to meet my uncle at the Kranji MRT. After exiting the MRT, instead of turning right, I turned left, as I was unfamiliar with the MRT station layout, and had to walk a long way to the other side. Had I turned right, I would have came across the bridge and crossed it. My uncle and auntie was waiting slightly near here for me.
On the way across the border, I remembered not having submitted an overseas notification, and got it done hastily. On coming back afterwards, I would have realized that it was totally unnecessary, since the trip was under 24 hours.
Our first thing was to have breakfast, so we had roast duck, roast pork and some rice. Shortly thereafter, we visited Jusco at Bukit Indah, for about 1 hour, or thereabouts. Together with my uncle, I hunted for a bag, and a pair of jeans, both without success. I had been thinking of replacing my bag since last July, or August. I never did, because I couldn't find a suitable bag that satisfied my criteria of being able to put my newspaper at the back, books or laptop in the middle, and stationeries at the front. What I bought however, was 4 packs of satay jelly fish. After the Jusco trip, we stopped at a coffee restaurant and had a drink, then my Uncle drove to Tesco, intending to get some bread, however, he got more than bread.
We then went for lunch at a Teochew coffeeshop, and I took a photo of the location, with the GPS enabled, intending to return, however, I wasn't able to get a GPS fix. Afterwards, we visited a pasar malam, and I got a GPS fix this time on many of the photos. We were at 27-59 Jalan Perkasa 4. We also had dinner nearby and by the time I reached home, it was around 8pm to 8:30pm.
It was quite an enjoyable trip, and my uncle said he'll be glad to arrange for another one. I would bring more money the next trip. Perhaps 500RM should do it.
