All of a sudden, 3 opportunities appeared! I'm closing a deal on 2 Feb worth at least $2000, just by writing a backup script for an ISP.

Then, I'll be implementing Active Directory, migrating a SQL Server and Exchange 5.5 to 2000, for a measly $1000 for the duration of the project, which I estimate to be between 3 to 5 days. FWIW, I'm not going to make it last longer than 5 days, because, when that happens, it's like I'm an employee! Though I tried to dangle a carrot in front of the customer by telling them that the offer is valid only for December, they've apparently pushed their luck by not closing it in December, instead, closing it now. Should I charge them higher, since the $1000 offer was only valid if the deal was closed in December? If I changed the pricing, they may not want to take up the offer.

Next month on the 7th, because of my relentless efforts in writing, I'll be meeting up with an overseas associate, who came across my work. This is particularly due to another effort, which I began in 1999, when I started to do "pro bono" work and as a result of that, culminated in several worldwide software development products, portions of which, bore my name.

In addition, I've been asked if I want to go ahead and be the technical consultant and eventually, architect, responsible for the entire design, implementation and deployment of a corporate network using open standards software. I am concerned that the timeframe given to develop the concept may be lacking.
