On Monday, I had three meetings. One with an Australian, Paul, another with Victor, the (ex?) director of a company I once was in, and another with Smigle and the IT director of an institute located in Kallang.

With Paul, we discussed about how we can collaborate together, on software development projects from Australia.

With Victor, we discussed on how I can take up some of the projects he had on hand, including migration of Webtrends.

When the IT director at the institute spoke, we realized effectively that we've lost the project we tried to bid for.

I did my due diligence, called Kim and found out from her that the PITA (project I've worked on 2 years ago) project has a deadline of 1 Jun for implementation. Logically, it is a supply and demand issue. If demand is high but supply is low, then logic demands that customers pay dearly for the supply. Conversly, if demand is low but supply is high, then logic demands that customers pay cheaply for the supply. Of course, with certain people and organizations, there's no logic to speak of. They only get emotional and illogical. That leads me to wonder how these people arrive at the positions they're in now.

The next project I'll be working on would be one of the migration projects at a religious association.
