Lack of energy

I've been feeling tired and running out of steam lately,
an indication that I've not rested sufficiently.

My energy seems to have gone somewhere, apparently.
No matter how I recuperate daily,
I'm always out of energy recently.

And what shall they find when they tear me apart eventually?
No engines running, there in my heart, actually.
