I had a funny dream last night, and while I still recall the dream, I should note it down, before the dream fades away.
I dreamt that I was in Ngee Ann Poly, and that the entire polytechnic was somewhere very high.
There was an exercise, where all of us (by that, I've no idea who) were involved in trying to shoot some enemy. And somehow, everyone was required to slide through pipes using their hands.
I was one of those who completed sliding, and here, something is not going to make sense. I kept sliding, while others finished theirs, and I dropped my key pouch. So, I couldn't jump off because the jump looks to be very high, at least 10-20 meters, so I continued sliding. I couldn't stop sliding because if I stopped, I'll fall. And if I fall, it's quite a fall downwards. It's sort of like a roller coaster ride, except, the roller coaster is my hands, so I'm coasting through some pipes with my bare hands.
So, I continued sliding, and sliding and sliding. And eventually, my hand let go, and I started falling. It was quite exhilirating, with the wind blowing and my hair flying and I thought, I couldn't die. Then, sudden fear gripped me, and I realised the terrible and horrible truth that I'm about to die. The kind of fear that happens when you realised, suddenly, that you're walking on air, and when you look down, there's nothing down there holding you up.
And there, I woke up. The dream embodied all kinds of challenge, fear, and excitement. Falling through air also seems to indicate a loss of control. I wonder if I'm losing my grip with reality. This link here says the dream is about losing control, or giving in to sexual desires.
Once I woke up from the dream and realised that it was just a dream, I went back to sleep.
