We visited a watch exhibition on Friday at St Regis. The watch exhibition was composed entirely of Patek Philippe watches. It was quite an amazing exhibit of lots of watches, and we had the opportunity to listen to a watch specialist explain how Patek Philippe watches are wound, and how it worked internally. In addition, he also showed us how the watch's second hand movement was stopped from moving, merely by inserting a small piece of plastic into one of the watch's gears.
After the exhibition, we went over to Liang court (a place I haven't visited since Aug 2009 when we last visited one of the karaoke lounges), in order to hunt for the world's most expensive coffee, Kopi Luwak. Alas, the coffee served there wasn't the real deal, and the $10 I paid for that cup of expresso wasn't really worth it. I felt very disappointed that I wasn't able to drink kopi luwak, and we'll try to find it on another day.
