So I went to Cupertino last week, and met my colleagues. In one of our gatherings, my colleagues (Christophe and Rimesh) brought up that when we met last year, I mentioned that one of the things I wanted to do is to take a wealth management course. I've totally forgotten about that. However, I've always kept my radar on the future, making my targetted amount of money before I retire.

So, here's my future planned for the next few years.

  1. Hold down a job.
  2. Study finance and learn how to read financial statements.
  3. Become independent directors for several companies.

In preparation in learning and understanding how to deal with people better and also becoming a manager, I've taken up a counselling course.

And I've just signed up for an NTU course on Basic Accounting and Financial Management for Non-Financial Professionals and Executives.

The thing I've always realized is that no companies will invest in you for your sake. So, I've always got to invest in myself and my future.
