Around lunch time today, my colleague asked if I wanted to go get some stuff, so I agreed, and we left the office and took a cab to SLS. New equipment has been coming in and I needed a rack to contain all these equipment.  We had lunch at the basement, and while leaving, my colleague met his friends, and surprisingly, they find me familiar, and asked if I was from a certain faculty and certain institute. I answered positively, and stated the years I was there.

And while sharing our pasts, I mentioned that I once ran the "Information Unlimited BBS" on Fidonet 6:600/308 or 309. Come to think of it, I could have been 6:600/608 though... I don't really remember anyway.  Eventually, we waved goodbye to them as we needed to get our stuff.

And I shared a bit of quick history about Roger Lim, his alleged departure from Sony, and the founding of WebVisions.

So, after getting those equipment, we went back to the office, and I set up those equipment. I'm single-handedly building the IT hardware and software infrastructure and directing the operations of the Singapore office at the same time, though my card says I'm an engineer. Once the Singapore office is running smoothly, and we get a few more engineers,  I'll be directing them.

That aside, I've been thinking whether I should be going for the CISSP certification that I thought of doing about 5 years ago, when I was running Right Security, and whether I should be taking up a classical guitar course again...
