So... Every Tuesday and every Friday we have a conference call to discuss our cases. For the past few sessions, I did not have any issues with my cases, and so, I listened to others discuss about theirs.

Today, the moderator did not show up, so, I became the de facto advisor. It's surprising that the other guys listened to the advices I had to offer on their case. It's a case of the blind leading the blind.

We all took the same training, but I'm coming out ahead because of my wide exposure, knowledge and working experience in many areas, including networking, operating systems (Linux, Solaris, Windows, etc) and software development as well... I've spent a lot of time over the years learning an assortment of different stuff on my own, and I'm pretty happy it's getting me ahead of others...
