The day before yesterday, I arranged to purchase a Yamaha C-70 guitar, and yesterday, I got my Yamaha C-70 guitar at Yew Tee MRT, after waiting for more than an hour.I reached Yew Tee MRT at about 6pm, and started waiting there, since the arrangement was to get the guitar delivered between 6 - 6.30pm. At about 6:35pm, I called up the delivery person, and was told that he'll be 15 minutes late. At 6:51pm, I called again, and was real upset that he'll be late further. So I told him that if he doesn't arrive in 5 minutes, there'll be no deal. And he replied saying that he's only a delivery man, and subsequently, told me that he has informed his boss and there'll be a discount of $10.
The delivery man finally appeared at the station around 7:05pm, and I checked the guitar very carefully, looking at all angles.
After getting home, I also verified the guitar's serial number, and it was the 98th unit commissioned in 2002, and made in Apr 2004.
So, other than getting my guitar at a good price, it came with a further $10 discount and a bag. ;o) What a great bargain!
