On 28th Mar, Smigle sent me an email, asking me to reduce more than 50% of my quotation. A few days before that, Mask asked me to meet him the next day. As a result of the email Smigle sent, I didn't meet Mask on the 29th, and instead, sent all of them an email, saying I won't be meeting them until the particular issue is resolved.

Later today, I'll be meeting Smigle at 11am, Redhill MRT Hawker Centre, for a drink and discussion of the issues involved. This will literally be a business showdown. If the discussion fails, they will be stuck, I believe, with two proposals that apparently is in the final throes of completion, but without anyone to implement them. I'm actually ready to walk away from the deal, since I do not want to spend time and effort convincing a bunch of Scrooges that my proposal is competitive.

Smigle called me up late yesterday, in an uncondescending manner, to apologize for not replying, and to set up today's meeting. I suspected largely that he spent last week looking for professionals to do the work that I've proposed, at the charges that he proposed. Since the charges I quoted are largely competitive, I believe that no businesses or professionals have either the skills to do what they want, or at the price they desire.
