Screw it, let's do it

Mask called me today morning, and asked me to meet a customer next Tuesday, at 1030 hrs. He'll be picking me up at 1010, Woodlands MRT.

It's been quite some time since I've touched Active Directory. So, I've been reading up quite a lot, especially on how Windows 2003's AD has improved on Windows 2000's.

I'll be writing quite a few programs on AD (using the Delphi 2005 Architect I've acquired recently) to assist me in AD migration.

Smigle has asked me to remove the documentation charges for the HA project for the retailer. In response, I told him that if he acquires MSSQL 2000 Enterprise through me, I'll remove the documentation charges.

In life, everything is risky. Balancing risk isn't easy. I'm very much reminded of the risks Richard Branson took very much early in the Virgin years, when I read his story in "Losing my Virginity", a book I bought more than 3 years ago.

For instance, in order to earn more money, one of the more risky things he had do was smuggle CDs from another country into Britain. Unfortunately, he was caught, and thrown into jail, hence fulfilling his headmaster's prediction that he'll be a millionaire or go to prison.

I've decided to acquire MSSQL 2000 Enterprise. The risks are great, the rewards greater.

And why do you think i studied confucius in school? The chinese poem on top is from Cao Zhi to the brother when the brother tried to 'remove' him for fear of him usurping the throne. He composed that poem in 7 steps.
