Met up with Sharon and Kee Wee at Scotts Picnic at 12:40pm for lunch yesterday. I had a bowl of beef soup and rice, Kee Wee took some meat spaghetti, while Sharon had some strange “yong tau hu/foo” stuff.

When I sent Sharon a SMS (short message service) for lunch, she sent back a cheeky “Sorry, I don't dine with strangers, hee” line.

Sharon had a way of talking that made me laugh very loudly and uncontrollably, much more so than the other people I go out with.

After lunch, I met up with “The One” from the IT firm, at the school. Together, we met our clients. They were primarily concerned with how the project is implemented technically.

So I explained to them about the DHCP server, but (strangely) forgot about the TFTP daemon.

It seems to me that they want me to integrate my solution together with the SMS (Systems Management Service) server. However, I told them that while the solution I devise can use SMS, it doesn't integrate with SMS.

After answering all their questions, they actually wanted a demo shown. Luckily for me, “The One” told them it has to be a win-win situation, etc. Otherwise, I'll be slogging myself away to do a demo for them, with no idea whether they'll be wanting to implement the solution or not.

Finally, to close up, “The One” asked when they'll get back to us, and they say next week.
