When I was younger, I used to take Bovril. At that time, Bovril is a liquid derived from beef.
Then, around the late-80s, or early 90s, due to the mad cow disease, Singapore stopped importing beef-based Bovril, and my consumption stopped.
Last week, I saw a Bovril, with the same red colour label and cap that I recognized from my younger days, and I bought a bottle of 230g.
Today, I've started making drinks of Bovril, and cooking noodles, with Bovril integrated into it.
Man... I can tell you, I've missed Bovril, but I shall miss it no longer.
