While watching some commercials not shown in Singapore, I came across this fantastic song by Johnny Tillotson, Poetry in Motion.
Poetry in Motion immediately struck a chord within me, since it's in the same vein as other songs I liked, including “There Goes My Baby”, “That Thing You Do”, “Build me up, Buttercup”, Little Eva's “The Locomotion”, “Lovin' you lots and lots”, “I need you (that thing you do)”, “Hold my hand, hold my heart”, “Dance with me tonight”, and other songs.
It seems to me that the songs I liked and enjoyed the most were written in the early 60s and 70s.
