i got the first one. the 2nd one, i never heard of cacls haha this is my first time. so used to windows. i lost touch of the command prompt

My friend, if you want to work in IT, the first thing you gotta learn is master the command line.

Systems Administrators and Engineers learn the command line because most of the time, there is a need to automate things by batch files or scripts. And that means you gotta learn the command line. No substitute for it.

To learn more command line, type help in the command prompt. Windows NT 4, 2000, and 2003 all support the command.

GUI stuff is only when you're able to look at the console, locally or remotely.

i will keep that in mind. command line is fine. except that i never do system administration that much so some commands are kinda foreign to me :)
