According to Daniel, she had some problems with her Java. So, we adjourned to Han's Restaurant at Great Eastern. Daniel treated me to a pepper steak and coffee.
Turns out that Jingyi, who's a student at NTU or NUS, is having some problems with her Java lab exercises. Took me between 1-2 hours, while having lunch and small talk, to trace through her lab (with a piece of paper, didn't bring my laptop along) and discover that it was all logic errors, and that she's doing something like x.y() where x is an object instance, and y is a method when x is null, so she's having exceptions of NullPointerReference or something.
I then convinced Daniel to go with me to the Bloggers meetup and we reached Far East Plaza's Starbucks at about 7.15pm, but unfortunately, no one turned up except us.
So, we left at around 7.30-40pm, and went to browse at Sunny's Bookshop upstairs. As it was around closing time, we stayed only for a short while and we went to Scott's Picnic to have dinner. Mine was beef soup (extra meat), medium rare, with rice, while Daniel had dry beef noodles.
We split around 9.15pm, and we each went on our own way, after getting a whole meal bread from the provision store underneath Lido's.
