So, I was paid another $600 this morning for 2 days of work, for a total of $900 for 3 days.
More than 2 weeks ago, I was contacted by a guy who wanted a program written in Delphi to be fixed.
I quoted him $300/day and he accepted. I spent 2 days last week modifying the program for him, and took partial payment of $300.
Yesterday, we met at 10:30am at the coffeeshop nearby and after nearly 4 hours of discussion, afterwhich, I came back and started coding. Around 11pm, I thought the code was ready, so I called him, and he came over. The code was tested, changed, with his feedback until 3am, whereupon, he paid me the remaining $600.
Certain software companies I know charge between US$1000 - $2000 per day... Some day, I'll reach that level of charges, but not today... :)
