I used to think I'm a person with moral and principle integrity, however, overnight, both integrity has been put to a test. For at least 22 to 23 years, the moral and principle integrity issue has never been questioned by myself, and though it was challenged many times, I have never backed off from a confrontation of morality and principles.
As an author, I write articles regarding products. When you have a complaint regarding a product, where do you complain about it? To the company itself right? If you have an issue with the product, you demand support from the company itself, since they have pocketed your money. But what if the company (let's call this A) does not offer support, or trained enough personnel to provide said support?
And what if another company (let's call this B) offers more support for their own brand of their own product, which is a competitive counterpart of company A's?
Because of the reality of the situation, I wrote an article advising users to move away from product A, to product B.
I have received feedback from people in contact with company A that I will not be offered product A as a result of my article.
My first action was to ponder over the feedback, and withdraw the article I wrote. My next action would be to take a wait-and-see approach for the next few weeks. I will then decide whether to reinstate the article or withdraw it permanently, or re-edit the article.
