I started watching Taken this afternoon. Till now, I've finished episode 1, Beyond the Sky, and 2, Jacob and Jesse.
Taken is a 10 series Steven Spielberg story about what happened in Roswell, from 1945 until 1959. My synopsis or description of these stories will not be accurate, since I've only finished the first 2 epsodes.
UFOs appeared in the war in 1945, and a few pilots were affected. Of those 9 pilots affected, only 1 survived.
The story goes that these aliens were able to project thoughts into human minds, and were able to appear as human.
One particular alien, masquerading as a human, stayed with a lady, and impregnated her. In episode 2, it was learnt that the alien's child, an alien-human hybrid's name is Jacob.
Jacob has mind powers, and were able to transmit something into the people of those who bullied or threatened him. The first time it happened was in episode 1. A classmate asked Jacob to guess what's his lunchbox. Jacob told the classmate and also the reason behind the day's lunchbox. Subsequently, Jacob was threatened by his classmates while on his way home. Jacob looked into the eyes of his classmate and transmitted horror into him. The second instance of this was what happened to Major Owen Crawford. Major Owen told Jacob he will go easy on Jacob's mother if Jacob told him how to fly the saucer. Jacob then terrorised Major Owen.
