I am lost.
Hopelessly, irretrievably lost.
I live in a world of my own
The light of which, few have been shown.

It's not easy, never eagerly,
do I bring people into my world,
a world of conflict and knowledge.

I dare not commit. For I fear, of belonging,
of feeling close, only to lose it all.
This is a world of darkness, of shadows,
of uncharted regions,
where there be dragons here.
