1) Ivan Lim says he'll stay the course on Saturday. Before the end of the day, he resigned. Was he told to resign, or based on his character so far portrayed by colleagues, neighbours, etc, would he have resigned on his own?2) $33M by AHTC, is it really their loss? Or was it spinned by the media that they lost the money? Or were the three members of AHTC really doing what they thought was best for the residents?3) AIM Town Council software - How did a software developed by the Govt get sold to a private company supposedly owned by PAP members who then can decide who to lease the software to?4) How did an Indian turn into a Malay? Ownself decide? Or told by the party?5) CST founded the party. How did the leader of a party decide to resign from his own party? Did he lose the confidence of the members of the CEC? CST is the Sec Gen of the party. Can just one person force him out, or can the Sec Gen just fire that person? What if he lost the confidence of members of the CEC?See also: https://mothership.sg/2019/08/what-happened-chiam-see-tong-resign-sdp-split/As in every story told, there's always different perspectives. Ponder upon every possible perspective. Then, ponder upon the characters of people (eg, Dr Paul Tambyah, Bryan Lim) who are now serving SDP. If CSJ have the character and personality as described by the press, would these people join his party?6) PAP will use every advantage to spin stories to their advantage, and to discredit other opposition/alternate party members. Who can guarantee that they didn't assassinate the character of CSJ in the 1990s, and then move on to AHTC members in the recent years? When it suited them, they'll praise the old leader: LTK, and cast aspersions on the new leader: PS.7) If Dr TCB is really such good friends of PAP members, why did he start a new party to challenge them? Did he see something wrong, or he wasn't really good friends of PAP members in the first place? With enough money earned by being a Dr, he can really retire already. Does he really need to get into politics again, if not to fix something, or right something?
Even if PAP loses 50% of the seats, they'll still control Singapore, because there's a lot of mechanisms in place that we're not aware of. PAP practically have all sorts of scholars and smart people joining them. They can ask all these scholars to devise mechanisms to continually stay in power.
