I'd say that the service was pretty good and prompt. However, the medium rare beef steak I ordered came different from what I ordered. Half of the steak was rare, and half of the steak was well done. Huh? What was that about?

What was nicely done was after I ordered the steak and told the waitress no potato, she came back and asked me if I wanted to replace the potato with broccoli, which was a nice touch.

Another thing was the menu. It read Dessert Shooters, all at $4.80, then there were 3 items listed below, and the choc shooter was $4.80, the other 2 shooters were $7.80. When I asked the waitress to confirm the price, she went to check, came back and told me the other 2 shooters were $9.80. Well well well.... A new restaurant and already mistakes in menu pricing? Then, there was limited soup (two I think) and no onion soup???

And no coffees or teas? Only martinis, fruit punches and alcoholic drinks?

And while I was having my meal there, the staff came out and sang a birthday song to one of the other tables (I couldn't see it), which was definitely a very nice touch!

I'll return to Applebee's soon. Probably once or twice this week. Let's see how my schedule works out.
