Our third group meeting on 10 Mar consisted of Andrea, Max, Brenda, Maithilii, Thana, Sindhoo, Matthias and me.
I was the first to arrive, and chatted with Andrea on some stuff which would become inconsequential in time, but is of human interest, and Andrea shared that Danny had shared with her the same thing some time around before she left the country (which I believed would be late Jan or early Feb). Andrea commented that she was puzzled why Danny had chose to tell her about it, but eventually realized why when Danny continued further. Brenda joined in our conversation when she arrived, having brought along some of the goodies that she had bought over the new year, that no visitors to her place would eat, which I might add, I enjoyed a great deal (I had finished the hae bee hiam, haha!).
And so we proceeded on with our practicum, with Brenda sharing about her facilitation experience, how she was clueless and contacted other classmates on what to do. We then reviewed the counselling videos, discussed and noted ways of improvement and passed it to the respective counsellors. Andrea organized a few role plays between members of the group, just to put across a point or two.
Me learning a new acronym - TA: therapeutic alliance, which I would need to check up on, so as to improve myself.
