There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy.
- Ralph H. Blum

We started a new module yesterday, Counselling Methods. The class was quite empty, as the first batch had left. There is a total of 12 in the class, but only 9 were present, an observation I made later when we were grouped to do a quick discussion on the pros and cons of influencing factors of what a counsellor brings to the table for a client.

I was surprisingly happy and jovial, as there is so much space in the class. It's amazing that an increase in the space available can lead to such joy. The other factor of my happiness is that Sunita Rai is the lecturer. She always has a happy and cheerful outlook.

Later during the class, I was happy to recognize the process of change, previously covered in Dr Chang's Addiction Intervention class.

I want every day and every moment to be like that. What's stopping me?
