How do you separate the weed from the chaff? When you're giving limited sources of resources that needy people require, how do you determine who to give help to, and who not to?

It's not an easy task.

How do you determine whether one story is true, and the other is not? How do you determine whether both stories are true, both stories are false, or only one's true?

It's not an easy task.

And what happens when you hear so many stories (true or otherwise) that you lose your compassion? How do you prevent yourself from becoming apathetic?

It's not an easy task, but something that I hope I will master the skills of.
