One of the rarer times when I have to translate computer lingo to English.

When asked what's a thread dump, I responded:

Me: A thread is a task given to a man.
A thread dump is a policeman asking the man what he is doing.
The man must stop all he is doing in order to answer the policeman.

At the point where I mentioned policeman, the colleague said:

Or the wife! Devil
