While installing Solaris 10 x86 64 on VMware, I encountered the error message "cpu is too fast" or something similar.
The solution, is to edit the file: config.ini located in %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\VMware\VMware serverAnd add the following lines: host.cpukHz = 2000000 host.noTSC = TRUE ptsc.noTSC = TRUE
After the changes are made, the VMware needs to be restarted, if it's already running while the editing was taking place.
Now, I can continue my Solaris 10 x86 installation.
In 2017, with the release of Delphi 10.2 Tokyo, Embarcadero introduced a specialized implementation of the Observer pattern into the System.Classes unit. While it has been in the wild for 9 years, it remains a "hidden" architecture for many, primarily because it serves as the invisible engine behind LiveBindings. Other than live bindings, you can also use the Observer pattern as a way to update component settings to the Windows registry, an .ini file, or persist it elsewhere.
