About the author
I wrote an article on how to use Delphi 2005, together with my MakeCFCompatible utility, to develop for the .NET Compact Framework between August and mid September.
After sending it to several people for review, including Tim Jarvis, Jeremy North and David Clegg, I submitted it to the SDA Asia Magazine for publication.
Well, the article is now out in the December issue of SDA Asia Magazine! Check out the list of articles here.
The difference between my article and most other articles is that I showed how to do development using the CE Emulator. In addition, I used the minimal number of tools and utilities required. The .NET Compact Framework SDK isn't even required at all! So, the article should shed several mythical CF Development issues for some of us.
The writing of my article predates the development of Jeremy's CFBuildHelper, which integrates the MakeCFCompatible utility I wrote into the Delphi 2005 IDE and allows you to create and deploy a CF application directly to the CE Emulator.
If anyone's interested in getting a copy of the magazine, lemme know so that I buy it for you.
