I got paid!

For writing a backup script which got split into 4 files, each about 50 lines, and spending two days (less than 5 hours each day) at a customer's site, I got paid $2000.

Yesterday, I went down to the cafeteria near their office, and Scrooge finally paid the remainder of the payment in cheque.

Tomorrow, I'll be at the retailer's HQ, understanding from them their requirements. I'll be implementing a High Availability solution for them. A HA solution typically requires a group of computers working together, so that any failure in any computer wouldn't bring down the services provided by the group of computers. The group of computers is known as a cluster.

After that, I'll be meeting up with Daniel in the afternoon for a coffee and some catch up. It's been a month since we've met. We'll probably talk politics again.
