I met up with Borland's Malcolm Groves at Penny Black, Boat Quay for a beer, coffee and a chat on Tuesday, when he was in Singapore. By this time, he's left Singapore already...

Malcolm's incredibly charming and witty. We touched on a variety of topics including family, politics in Singapore and Queensland, language barriers (human, not computers!), SDP and SDO, how each of us got started in software development. Incidentally, Malcolm pronounced "Delphi" as Del-fee, so that settles to rest how Australians pronounce "Delphi".

Malcolm has a deep love for gardens (at least, that was the impression I got) and the photos in his blog reflected the passion.

Check out Sungei Buloh and it's history.
