Somewhere, I walked to a shop and asked for a ticket to a movie, instead
of two. She gave me a ticket and then absentmindedly began giving me
change for $50 even though I did not pay her yet.
I then walked away. Much later, I remembered that I bought only a
ticket instead of two as I wanted to watch the movie with my brother and
so I walked back to the shop, however, I couldn't get a seat next to my brother. So, I got another ticket which would be located further from the seat of the first ticket.
He came back from his trip today. And since he's got a 3-months bonus, he treated me to dinner @ Gyu Kakyu, CHIJMES. When I told him about it during dinner, he chided me in a good-natured manner, claiming that my stupidity crosses over to the alternate reality as well. He was coughing throughout the entire dinner and during our coffee session, having got the Khumbu Cough from the climbing trip.
During the coffee session, we talked about a trip to Hong Kong just to have food. Tentatively, we'd agreed to have it around Aug-Sep, and I told him about my potential speaking session in the US in Sep, so the trip will either have to be before that, or after. My brother also shared that he sent post cards to his friends, his niece and nephew as well. Some day, may be 10 years later, his niece and nephew would find the post cards useful.
After dropping me off, I opened my letter box, and was surprised to received the post card which he sent on 25 Apr.
