It's as if I've been waiting a long time for something to happen. Since May 2009, I've been bored. Very bored. I remembered talking to my colleagues and my classmates about it. Of course, an indication of my initial awakening began many many years ago, probably as early as 1998, when I talked to my sister about passion. These days, I no longer talked about passion. I do certain things with passion, and certain things without. Back in Aug 2008, after finishing what seemed to be my last consultancy project, I decided to look around and thought of things to do next.

Then, deciding that I lacked interpersonal communication skills, here's what I did and it took a while, but I completed it. Still, I lacked the polish of a public speaker - a toastmaster. I've heard of the Toastmasters in my mid-20s, and more than a decade later, I've finally decided it's time to join. And last month, I knew I would eventually be involved in the Toastmasters, looking at the number of entries I wrote on the subject. After attending several functions, I decided to sign up.

And my Toastmasters manuals arrived on Monday. It's delusional to do what I've always do and assume that I'll get different results.

“If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten.”
- Anthony Robbins

Here's to knowing it will make a difference. Cheerio!
