Hmm, things appear to be going up. My cousin, Hao, just called me a few hours ago, to ask me to install Windows Server 2003. He had earlier SMSed me for the charges, and I told him $1000. He said he could pay more... Yahoo!

Yesterday, at the meeting with the retailer, it became clear that they wanted to buy the equipment themselves, and only wanted my professional services to assist them in setting up a High Availability solution, which in their case, is a Windows Cluster. In addition, they wanted me to provide a maintenance contract with them, for say, a few thousand dollars, for 30 hours.

In addition, the retailer also mentioned that their current provider is MCSB Systems (S) Pte Ltd. Seems like the retailer is going to give up using MCSB as a provider. Ha ha, I had previously tried applying for a job at MCSB, however, after looking at my resume online for, like 6-7 times, they didn't call me up. (How did I know this: that they viewed my resume for 6-7 times? Well, I've built a simple program into my resume, and each time my resume is viewed online, "ET phones home", if you get what I mean.) So now, I've turned into their competitor unwittingly, and am snatching businesses away from them.

Last week, Boon Keat asked me if it's possible for me to work on a PHP project for a few thousand dollars, lasting less than a week, about 2 months from now.
