Yesterday in the morning, my brother called me up and asked if I was free to go for a play. I said I was.

So, around 6pm in the evening, he came to pick me up, and we had dinner at the food court nearby the MRT.

I had lor shi fun with fish balls and he ordered the red oil beef noodle soup. We left the food court around 7pm, and he drove us to DBS Arts Centre. He lost his way here and there, and we reached there at about 7:40pm.

In the lobby, we just walked around and looked around, and chatted. There were lots of babes and guys there, and they looked to be well dressed.

One of the babes was talking to her group of two friends, and when I noticed her, it looked like she was my primary school classmate, Xiao Yan. She did noticed me too. While I puzzled over the possibility whether she was my classmate, the doors opened, so after waiting for a while for others to go in, we went to our seats at H11 and H12.

The Odd Couple is a fantastic play by Remesh Panicker and Adrian Pang. Adrian played FU (Felix Ungar) who gets thrown out of the house by his wife and Remesh played Oscar, his buddy.

In SRT's own words, “Newly divorced Oscar Madison, a beer-guzzling, poker-playing sports reporter with limited house-keeping skills, invites his friend, Felix Ungar to stay. There's only one hitch: Felix is a compulsively tidy hypochondriac, whose neurotic ways have found free reign after his wife unexpectedly throws him out

It was a fantastic play.

After the play, which ended around 10:30pm, I had wanted an opportunity to talk to my “classmate”. Unfortunately, I did not see her anywhere.

Feeling hungry again, I told my brother so, and he drove us to Serangoon, near Lim Ah Pin Road, and we had supper, which is “economic rice”. That costs me $12.60.
