Hi everyone,

My name's Chee Wee, but for simplicity's sake, just call me chewy. It's easier that way for everyone.

Many of you know me as an ardent Delphi supporter. Indeed, I've been maintaining a personal Delphi blog for quite some time already. I wrote some of the demos shipped in Delphi 2005, Delphi 8 for the Microsoft .NET Framework, Kylix 3 (C++), and C# Builder Architect before I joined Borland.

I'm in Asia Pacific (internally, it's abbreviated as APAC) Technical Support, so those of you submitting technical support cases would eventually encounter me, or my colleagues.

I have some background in systems administration, software development and systems integration. Previously, I had worked hard for these certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) for Windows 2000, so mucking around in various OS and debugging is no biggie to me.

I started software development in 1987 in x86 Assembly and Turbo Pascal 4.0.  Subsequently, I've used all the subsequent versions, to the current version of Turbo Pascal's descendant, Delphi 2005. I joined Borland in May this year.

Tech Support's mission is to provide technical support to customers and troubleshoot code, debug performance issues and assist customers with problems at various stages of the SDLC.

If you've a tech support issue, and a valid tech support contract, contact Borland Tech Support so that we can assist you.
