If you're a pure Win32 developer, and have bought Delphi 2005, and have no need for all the .NET stuff, then you should really consider implementing the steps shown at this URL by Alvaro Garcia Pascual.
What is it, some of you may ask?
If you didn't know by now, Delphi 2005 is implemented using hybrid technologies, with Java, Win32 and .NET in it. As a result of that, Delphi 2005 takes longer to load than Delphi 7, or Delphi 8.
For example, the refactoring technology in the Delphi 2005 IDE is implemented using the CodeDOM implemented with the .NET Framework. The modelling technology is also implemented using the .NET Framework. The Janeva technology is implemented using Java.
