Assembling Highlander...

Received my CPU yesterday afternoon after nearly waiting for 3 weeks. Turns out that due to some custom issues, it was only sent on 31 May.

Have decided to get DFI LanParty nF4~~. Venus or~~ Expert~~? We'll see how it goes~~. The new CPU, an AMD X2 4800+ is faster than my current AMD Athlon 1.1GHz, a relic.

I've decided to arm the new machine I'm assembling with a minimum of 2GB RAM so that I can run DeXter and Highlander.

How much can I salvage of the original components, or should I be assembling a totally new machine?

Ironically (or not), I'll name my machine Highlander. So, I will be running Highlander on Highlander. Ha ha. That's sure gonna confuse a lot of people.
